The current daily cash limit of AU$5,000 (US$3,100) for gaming will be maintained until August 19, 2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under transitional arrangements, the limit was to decrease from AU$5,000 to AU$1,000 (US$620) from August 19 as part of measures to address problem gambling, money laundering and financial crime by reducing cash transactions. However, the current limit will now remain in effect for another two years, subject to conditions, including monitoring the use of cash and providing reports to Liquor &amp; Gaming NSW.
