The men face six months in prison if the fines are not paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Florianus Jeky Chen, 25, Shu Chian, 22, and Asrul, 21, were arrested during a police raid under the ongoing Op Dadu anti-gambling operation. Authorities discovered desktop computers and smartphones at an apartment on Jalan Penrissen that were later confirmed by forensic experts to have been used for illegal gambling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The men were charged under Section 4B(a) of the Common Gaming House Act 1953. In a related ruling at the Sessions Court, Florianus and Asrul were each sentenced to three months\u2019 imprisonment and one stroke of the cane for entering Malaysia illegally.
