The company reported <strong>operating income<\/strong> of US$124.7m, up from US$123.7m in the second quarter of 2024. The group\u2019s adjusted property earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was US$377.7m, up from US$302.8m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Net income<\/strong> attributable to Melco Resorts &amp; Entertainment was US$17.2m, down 19.6 per cent compared to US$21.4m in the second quarter of 2024.\u00a0The net loss attributable to noncontrolling interests was US$7.8m, the majority related to Studio City, City of Dreams Mediterranean and Other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">City of Dreams Macau second quarter results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>City of Dreams reported operating revenue of US$710.5m for the second quarter, up from US$576.4m in the same period in 2024. EBITDA was US$225.6m, up from US$165.1m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rolling chip volume was US$5.49bn compared to US$4.83m in the second quarter of 2024 while the rolling chip win rate was 3.93 per cent. The mass market table games drop was US$1.75bn, up from US$1.46bn. The mass market table games hold percentage was 30.5 per cent, compared with 32.3 per cent in the second quarter of 2024. The gaming machine handle was US$945.3bn compared to US$902.3m. Non-gaming revenue was US$88.1m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Altira Macau&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Altira Macau\u2019s operating revenue was US$28.3m, down from US$29.3m. The venue generated negative adjusted EBITDA of US$0.3m. In the mass market table games segment, the drop was US$119m. The hold percentage was 21.3 per cent. The gaming machine handle was US$114.9m, compared with US$132.1m in the second quarter of 2024. Non-gaming revenue was US$4.8m, down from US$4.9m in the second quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Studio City&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Studio City posted operating revenue of US$388.2m. Adjusted EBITDA was US$105.2m, compared with US$79.2m in the second quarter of 2024. The mass market table games drop was US$958.2m compared with US$955.6m in the second quarter of 2024. The machine handle was US$916.1m, compared with US$842.4m. Non-gaming revenue was US$83.8m compared with US$80.4m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lawrence Ho<\/strong>, chairman and chief executive officer, said: \u201cMacau Property EBITDA grew 35 per cent year-over-year and 13 per cent quarter-to-quarter. Gaming volumes and revenue increased, with City of Dreams Macau and Studio City setting new records in mass market table games revenue. This was further supported by increases in cost efficiencies leading to stronger margins. We are confident that the strategic initiatives we implemented have set us up on a solid foundation for continued growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ho concluded: \u201cEe are very excited to have City of Dreams Sri Lanka open on August 1, 2025.
