United Arab Emirates.- Light & Wonder<\/strong> has announced that it has been granted a gaming-related vendor licence by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA)<\/strong> in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The licence enables it to provide land-based electronic gaming machines, table games and igaming content to players of licenced operators in the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UAE Lottery becomes World Lottery Association member<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The UAE Lottery<\/strong>, operated by The Game, recently announced its acceptance as a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA)<\/a>. It said the move marks a step forward in its international positioning and reinforces its dedication to global standards of integrity, responsible gaming and corporate responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) launched its first national lottery \u2013 and the first form of legal gambling \u2013in November 2024. The Game received a lottery licence from the GCGRA in July 2024, and Smartplay International received a vendor licence in October 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
