The South Korean venue has posted its best quarterly performance yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

South Korea.- Jeju Dream Tower, the foreign-only integrated resort operated by Lotte Tour Development on South Korea\u2019s Jeju Island, saw record casino revenue and visitor numbers in the second quarter of 2025. According to data released yesterday (July 1), Q2 sales reached KRW151.1bn (US$ 111m), surpassing the previous record of KRW129.6bn (US$ 95m) in Q3 of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The casino segment generated KRW110.04bn (US$81m) in net sales, exceeding KRW100bn (US$73m) for the first time and rising 30 per cent increase from Q1 2025 and 65.4 per cent year-on-year. The table drop was a record KRW668.5bn (US$ 493m), up 38 per cent from the previous quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitor numbers reached 148,475, surpassing the previous quarterly record of 109,631. June saw 51,515 visitors, an all-time monthly high, and a table drop of KRW219.2bn (US$161m), up 12.9 per cent from May and nearly 90 per cent year-on-year. Although June\u2019s total casino sales of KRW35.8bn (US$25m) were slightly below May\u2019s peak<\/a>, it was the second-highest monthly figure since the venue\u2019s opening in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Table game sales were down 12.8 per cent from May but grew 92.6 per cent compared to June 2024. Machine-game sales rose 20.3 per cent year-on-year despite a month-on-month decline. The Grand Hyatt Jeju recorded KRW41.09bn in revenue, the second-best quarterly result to date, and sold over 127,000 room nights. The hotel saw average occupancy of 87.6 per cent, a major improvement over last year\u2019s Q2 rate of 66.3 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n
