Machine revenue rose by 13.5 per cent year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Australia.- The Queensland\u2019s gaming industry’s machine metered win reached AU$332.7m (US$ 215m) in May. That’s a rise of 13.5 per cent increase compared to the same month in 2024 and 8.5 per cent from April 2025<\/a>. Average daily revenue (ADR) per machine rose 12.1 per cent year-on-year, from AU$237 to AU$266.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That makes May 2025 the second-best month on record for Queensland gaming win behind AU$339.3m (USD 219m) in August 2024<\/a>. The growth was partly attributed to seasonal factors, including an extra trading day and the Easter holidays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highest year-on-year increases in metered win were recorded in Gladstone (26.6 per cent), Logan (19.5 per cent), and Mackay (16.9 per cent). Among SA4 areas, Brisbane North (21 per cent), Logan-Beaudesert (18.8 per cent), and Brisbane South (17.5 per cent) led. Logan-Beaudesert saw the highest ADR at AU$375.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queensland\u2019s clubs and hotels saw revenue increases, despite a slight shift in market share. Clubs experienced a 15.4 per cent rise in machine gross revenue, reaching AU$145.4m (US$ 94m), while hotels saw a 12 per cent increase to AU$187.3m (US$ 121m). <\/p>\n\n\n
