The Philippines.- Alejandro H. Tengco, chairman and chief executive officer of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) attended the launch of the second phase of construction for the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association (PMAAAI) building at Fort Andres Bonifacio in Taguig City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This six-storey facility, funded with PHP600m (US$10.74m) from Newport World Resorts Foundation, will be the future Center for Leadership Excellence. <\/p>\n\n\n

Tengco said: “This project is truly remarkable because it is being constructed at no cost to the Philippine government. It stands as proof that the gaming industry \u2013 when properly regulated and responsibly managed \u2013 can be a strong partner in nation-building.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
