New Straits Times reported that inspector-general of police T<strong>an Sri Razarudin Husain<\/strong> said influencers and static images are usually used but that police would also investigate if AI videos promote gambling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Razarudin said police have opened 28 investigations into gambling promotions by influencers in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor this year as part of the ongoing Op Dadu. Of these, 18 have gone to court and 10 are still under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2021 to 2024, police blocked access to <strong>3,785 gambling-related websites<\/strong>. In 2024, police carried out 7,800 raids and arrested 9,460 people.
