The fake certifications are allegedly linked to a company that legitimately operates as a licensed e-games venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippines.-\u00a0The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR)\u00a0<\/strong>has issued a warning to the public regarding fake gaming certifications allegedly linked to Lucky 7 Bingo Corporation<\/strong>, a company that holds a licence to operate an e-games venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The regulator claims the company has been engaging in contract agreements that require bettors to make an upfront initial cash deposit of PHP3,000 (US$54). PAGCOR said the agreements reference is a fake offshore gaming licence, noting that offshore gaming operations have been banned in the Philippines since December 31, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atty. Jessa Fernandez<\/strong>, head of PAGCOR’s Offshore Gaming and Licensing Department, said: “While Lucky 7 Bingo Corporation is a legitimate licensee for e-games venue operations as of April 30, 2025, it does not hold any valid offshore gaming license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The licence presented in said agreements is fake, and any engagement based on it is fraudulent. We strongly advise the public to exercise due diligence when engaging with entities claiming to be PAGCOR-accredited.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added: “We urge the public to remain vigilant and always verify the legitimacy of a PAGCOR-licensed gaming entity before entering into any agreements or making any form of payment.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, PAGCOR also issued advisories regarding the proliferation of fake websites<\/a> and fraudulent Viber messages impersonating officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
