Since its first request in November 2019, it has&nbsp;blocked 1,227 sites. The regulator says over 220 illegal services have been withdrawn from the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It reminded consumers that even if a service looks legitimate, it\u2019s unlikely to have customer protections. People can check if a wagering service is licensed to operate in Australia on ACMA&#8217;s register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New South Wales launches new gambling harm resources for veterans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The New South Wales regulator&nbsp;<strong>Liquor &amp; Gaming NSW (<\/strong>L&amp;GNSW<strong>)&nbsp;<\/strong>has announced the launch of a new set of resources to help raise awareness about gambling harm and provide support tools for veterans.
