The retreat will coincide with the 2025 SiGMA Asia conference and expo, and seeks to strengthen its ties with the land-based industry in Asia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alejandro H. Tengco<\/strong>, chairman and CEO of The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), wrote: &#8220;We are proud to lend our support to this initiative, which perfectly aligns with our ongoing commitment to fostering the growth and sustainable development of the regulated gaming industry in the Philippines.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He went on to say that, &#8220;In line with expectations, this exclusive retreat will bring together top-tier land-based gaming operators from across the globe, providing a unique platform for networking, knowledge sharing and exploring new avenues for collaboration and investment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A retreat for affiliates is also set to take place on the island of Boracay, bringing 50 affiliates with great traffic together from the 5th to 7th June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event has also received endorsement from the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2024 expo, held across several days at the SMX Convention Centre in Manila, attracted 17,000 attendees from 154 countries, including a notable 69 per cent of decision-makers among the crowd. A post event report showed a high rate of satisfaction amongst attendees, with 91 per cent planning to return to this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>eGaming Licensing specialist at Manavia, <strong>Frank Schuengel <\/strong>said that it was &#8220;Safe to say that SiGMA Asia has grown since last year! Asia is well and truly open for business.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile<strong> Pronet Gaming <\/strong>emphasised SiGMA Asia&#8217;s importance as &#8220;a springboard for establishing strategic partnerships and fostering collaboration.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year the SMX was recognised as the Philippines\u2019 Best Convention and Exhibition Centre at the 33rd edition of the TTG Travel Awards, held in Bangkok, Thailand.
