That\u2019s an 54 per cent increase year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The count of premium mass participants reached a new high at 949. That\u2019s a rise of 22 per cent in year-on-year terms. The average bet per player was up 26 per cent at HK$28,654 (US$3,698). The figure was up 9 per cent when compared to the Chinese New Year 2025 holiday period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analysts <strong>George Choi<\/strong> and <strong>Timothy Chau<\/strong> noted a wager of HK$2.9m (US$374,200) at MGM Cotai&#8217;s Supreme Room, the highest individual bet they have observed to date. MGM China led the market with an estimated 30 per cent share, followed by Galaxy at 22 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some 850,034 visitors arrived in Macau during the<strong>\u00a0Labour Day golden week<\/strong>. That&#8217;s an increase of 40.6 per cent in\u00a0year-on-year terms and surpasses the estimate of 635,000 to 700,000 forecast by Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) director\u00a0<strong>Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Average daily visitation was 170,000, up 40.8 per cent compared to last year.
