Seven of the 12 AGEM Index companies saw stock price increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Asia.- The AGEM Index ended April on 1,742.29 points. That’s an increase of 126.55 points or 7.8 per cent sequentially<\/a>. In year-on-year terms, the index rose by 57.1 per cent, or 633.23 points. Seven of the 12 companies saw stock price increases, resulting in seven positive contributions, four negative contributions and one neutral contribution to the index.<\/p>\n\n\n

Konami was the largest positive contributor with a 15.8 per cent increase in its stock price, contributing a 91.34-point gain to the index. Meanwhile, Aristocrat Leisure Limited’s stock price increased by 4.2 per cent, leading to a 40.46-point increase. The largest negative contribution was Crane NXT, whose 8.7 per cent decrease in stock price resulted in a 6.00 point loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, the AGEM Index rose by 34 per cent, the fifth-highest annual growth since the index began in 2005. Created by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), the index lists 12 global gaming suppliers. Nine are based in the United States and are listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq, or OTC market, while two are listed on the Australian exchange and one on the Tokyo exchange. The index is calculated using the month-end stock price of each company, adjusted for dividends and splits, and is weighted based on estimated market capitalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n
