Macau.- MGM China, together with the Social Welfare Bureau, the Education and Youth Development Bureau, the University of Macau and the Macau Polytechnic University, has launched the MGM Responsible Gaming Employee Care Programme. The aim is to teach employees with about responsible gaming through roadshows, interactive games, online quizzes and training courses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company said the programme is designed to “raise employee awareness in this area, which will contribute to the establishment of a balanced, stable and sustainable society”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An opening ceremony held at MGM COTAI was attended by Yang Yi, deputy division head of Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Aster Ng, head of the division of Studies and Information Analysis of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ); Bonnie Wu, head of division of Problem Gambling Prevention and Treatment of the IAS and various other figures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his speech, Tian Han said the programme complements the <\/strong>MGM RG Community Engagement Scheme<\/a>, which started last year. He said: “Together, these two programmes will initiate an ‘internal and external dual-track’ approach, which will not only promote social advocacy but also strengthen the professional skills of employees.
