Casino sales increased by 61.3 per cent year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
South Korea.- Lotte Tour Development<\/strong>, the operator of Jeju Dream Tower casino, has reported that casino sales rose to KRW32.90bn (US$23.7m) in April. That’s an increase of 61.3 per cent year-on-year<\/a> and 1.2 per cent sequentially<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Table-game sales amounted to KRW31.1bn (US$22.2m), up 59.6 per cent in year-on-year terms and 0.7 per cent sequentially.\u00a0Machine-game sales rose to KRW1.75bn (US$1.25m), up 101 per cent in year-on-year terms and 11.7 per cent sequentially. The casino table drop (KRW188.83bn) increased by 19.5 per cent from March and 47.2 per cent from last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The number of visitors to the casino was 45,753, an increase of 12.5 per cent in year-on-year terms. Hotel sales reached KRW7.1bn (US$5m), a decline of 5 per cent year-on-year but up 73.2 per cent sequentially.<\/p>\n\n\n For the first four months of the year, casino sales were KRW117.4bn (US$83.9m), a 29.9 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2024. Hotel sales amounted to KRW21.2bn (US$15.1m), down 12.5 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Casino sales for the\u00a0full year 2024<\/a> rose 93.3 per cent\u00a0year-on-year<\/a>\u00a0to KRW294.65bn (US$200.7m)<\/strong>. Hotel revenue stood at KRW84.52bn (US$57.4m), down 7.8 per cent year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n
