The Champion Circle and Inner Circle venues have been upgraded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Hong Kong.- The Hong Kong Jockey Club (KJC)<\/strong> has reopened the Champion Circle <\/strong>and Inner Circle<\/strong> at Sha Tin Racecourse. The two renovated dining and entertainment venues are located\u00a0on 3\/F of Grandstand I. They will be open during all race meetings from May 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a total floor area of 50,000 square feet, the new-look Champion Circle and Inner Circle have a capacity of almost 1,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HKJC said the upgraded venues will “enhance the race-going experience for both local racing fans and overseas visitors, offering unparalleled racecourse catering and entertainment alongside Hong Kong\u2019s world-class racing.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dennis Hau<\/strong>, the HKJC’s executive director, customer strategy, insights and innovation, said: “We hope the stylish interior, optimised layout, wide variety of seating combinations, and venue-specific and upgraded catering choices have all the boxes checked, taking our customers\u2019 sporting and social entertainment experience, which is unique to the racecourse, to the next level.”<\/p>\n\n\n

HKJC supports WTCF tourism summit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The HKJC <\/strong>supported the closing ceremony of the 2025 World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) Hong Kong Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit held at the Happy Valley Racecourse from April 14 to 17 as part of its commitment to promoting horseracing tourism and strengthening the city\u2019s position as an international tourism hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HKJC plans to work with the HKSAR government and the Hong Kong Tourism Board to develop horse racing tourism further. Horse racing tourism was mentioned in chief executive John Lee’s recent Policy Address and is part of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau0s Development Blueprint for Hong Kong\u2019s Tourism Industry 2.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HKJC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding<\/a> with China Travel Service (CTS) to promote horse racing tourism and other initiatives in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). CTS will incorporate HKJC\u2019s Happy Valley, Sha Tin, and Conghua racecourses into its travel offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
