The MGTO, the city\u2019s six gaming operators and Air Macau will stage a roadshow in Akihabara from April 17 to 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Japan.- The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) will hold a three-day roadshow in Akihabara, Tokyo, from Thursday (April 17) until April 20 to promote Macau\u2019s tourism offerings. The \u00a0“Journey to Experience Macao” event will feature booths from the\u00a0city\u2019s\u00a0six gaming operators and Air Macau, among others. It will include anime culture, special travel offers, limited-time co-branded commodities and souvenirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The MGTO will also be at the Macao Tourism + MICE Product Updates Seminar & Travel Mart on April 16 with the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute, Macau International Airport and the Macao travel trade to promote collaboration between Japanese and Macau tourism operators. It will also lead a group of Macau travel professionals to visit the city of Kamakura for exchange and cooperation between Macau and the other Culture City of East Asia 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The MGTO said: “By rolling out a series of promotions and exchange in Japan now, the office conducts diverse marketing initiatives to keep appealing to Japanese visitors with the new travel experiences Macau has to offer, for expansion of international markets.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2024<\/a>, Macau received 126,424 Japanese tourists, up 68.2 per cent year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
