Every one of the 12 AGEM Index companies saw stock price decreases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Asia.-\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0AGEM Index<\/strong>\u00a0ended Match on 1,615.74 points. That’s a decrease of 164.88 points or 9.3 per cent\u00a0sequentially<\/a>. In year-on-year terms, the index rose 32.6 per cent, or 396.82 points. All 12 companies saw stock price decreases, resulting in 12 negative contributions to the index.<\/p>\n\n\n

The largest negative contributor was Aristocrat Leisure Limited, whose 11.0 per cent decrease in stock price resulted in a 75.59-point loss. Meanwhile, Light & Wonder Inc. saw its stock price decrease by 22.3 per cent, leading to a 49.37-point decrease for the index.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, the AGEM Index rose by 34 per cent, representing the fifth-highest annual growth since it began in 2005. Created by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), the index lists 12 global gaming suppliers. Nine are based in the United States and are listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq, or OTC market, while two are listed in Australia and one in Tokyo. The index is calculated using the month-end stock price of each company, adjusted for dividends and splits, and is weighted based on estimated market capitalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n
