In its press release, the company thanked its team members \u201cfor their hard work and contribution during the past year\u201d and \u201cfor their collective and continued efforts in supporting GEG\u2019s commitment to facilitating the diverse and sustainable development of Macau\u2019s integrated tourism and leisure industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See also: <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/galaxy-entertainment-group-names-francis-lui-as-chairman\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Galaxy Entertainment Group names Francis Lui as chairman<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MGM China<\/strong> also announced a discretionary bonus, equivalent to one month&#8217;s salary, for eligible team members in recognition of their dedication and contributions throughout 2024. The bonus will benefit approximately 95 per cent of its team members and will be distributed in two phases around the Lunar New Year of 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pansy Ho<\/strong>, chairperson and executive director of MGM China Holdings,\u00a0said, &#8220;The Golden Lion Team\u2019s perseverance and innovative spirit has driven MGM to trailblaze many milestones in cultural tourism this year. From the launch of the POLY MGM MUSEUM and the residency show Macau 2049 to the revitalization of Barra District, these achievements have elevated Macao\u2019s drawcard as a diversified tourism destination. I extend my gratitude to team members for their unwavering efforts. Together, we will pioneer more new heights for the city\u2019s diversified development.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wynn Macau&nbsp;<\/strong>has announced that 98 per cent of its current workforce, which totals 11,317 employees, will receive a special allowance equivalent to one month\u2019s salary on January 21.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Linda Chen<\/strong>, Wynn Macau\u2019s president, vice chair and executive director, said that the company will &#8220;continue working hand in hand with all sectors of society to build a better Macau, promoting the city\u2019s appropriate economic diversification, sustainable and high-quality development.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among those confirming bonuses is also <strong>SJM Resorts <\/strong>which will grant its staff a &#8220;special discretionary bonus&#8221; equivalent to one month\u2019s salary on January 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daisy Ho<\/strong>, managing director of SJM, thanked the employees for their efforts and contributions and said: &#8220;SJM Resorts continuously optimised and innovated its products and service experiences in 2024, achieving steady improvements in business development that are inseparable from the hard work of every team member.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Melco Resorts &amp; Entertainment&nbsp;<\/strong>has announced a one-month discretionary bonus for non-management employees in Macau and Hong Kong. The allowance is set to be granted before Chinese New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the company&#8217;s press release, Melco&#8217;s chairman said: &#8220;The bonus payout recognises our colleagues\u2019 hard work and support over the past year. We are grateful to our colleagues for their loyalty and commitment in ensuring our guests\u2019 expectations are constantly exceeded.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sands China<\/strong> has announced that it will give a bonus equivalent to one month&#8217;s salary to eligible employees. However, unlike other casino operators, it also announced a salary increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting on March 1, salaries will increase by 2.5 to 5 per cent, depending on pre-tax monthly wages. Those earning up to MOP16,000 will receive a pay rise of MOP600. Those with higher salaries will see a 2.5 per cent increase. Employees who have been with the company for one year or more will receive a discretionary bonus equal to one month\u2019s pay.
