She will stay in BI custody while going through deportation proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zun Yuan Technology<\/strong>, formerly known as Hongsheng Gaming Technology, was raided as part of investigations into <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/alice-guo-arrested-in-jakarta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alice Guo<\/a>,\u00a0the suspended mayor of Bamban, Tarlac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commissioner <strong>Joel Anthony Viado <\/strong>praised the latest arrest. He said, &#8220;These companies doing illegal activities have no place in the country. Expect more arrests as we crack down on illegal offshore gaming operations.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">24,000 offshore gaming workers reported to have left the Philippines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The BI has reported that approximately 24,000 of 33,000 registered foreign offshore gaming workers have left the Philippines. Immigration commissioner<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Joel Anthony Viado\u00a0said a further 8,000 workers had requested the downgrade of their visas.
