(TRLEI) a week after PH Resorts had <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ph-resorts-aims-to-finalise-emerald-bay-sale-by-july\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">denied that negotiations had halted<\/a>. <strong>Universal Entertainment\u00a0<\/strong>said closing conditions under the Term Sheet \u201cwere not or could not be fulfilled\u201d and that it could not give more details due to confidentiality obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PH Resorts obtained a provisional gaming licence from the\u00a0<strong>Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR)<\/strong>\u00a0for the Emerald Bay Resort, located on Mactan Island, Lapu Lapu City, Cebu, in 2017. Development was suspended during the Covid pandemic.
