This\u00a0grants the power to supervise and control police units within their jurisdictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson<strong>\u00a0Colonel Jean Fajardo\u00a0<\/strong>said the order will take effect immediately once approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DILG has urged the <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/philippines-dilg-calls-for-preventive-suspension-for-bamban-mayor-amid-pogo-probe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Office of the Ombudsman to suspend Guo<\/a>\u00a0for grave misconduct and negligence of duty due to alleged ties to\u00a0<strong>Zun Yuan Technology Incorporated<\/strong>. Police raided the company in March, resulting in the rescue of 875 Filipino and foreign workers.
