The former licensee pleaded<strong> guilty to 30 offences under the\u00a0Gaming Machines Act 2001<\/strong>\u00a0at Downing Centre Local Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator&#8217;s investigation revealed that 30 gaming machines were in operation at the hotel from 12pm to 10pm on Christmas Day 2022, which was outside the prescribed trading hours for gaming machines.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pubs-and-clubs-in-nsw-to-have-a-responsible-gambling-officers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Liquor &amp; Gaming NSW<\/a>\u00a0executive director,\u00a0<strong>Jane Lin<\/strong>, stated: \u201cThese restrictions are in place to reduce the risks of gambling harm by limiting the time patrons can spend playing gaming machines.
