The IMF predicts a 3 per cent growth rate in the medium term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-gdp-up-80-5-in-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Macau\u2019s GDP rose 80.5 per cent year-on-year<\/a>\u00a0in real terms. That represents a recovery to over 80 per cent of 2019 levels, before the Covid-19 pandemic. Per-capita GDP for 2023 reached MOP559,495 (US$69,393).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Macau\u2019s gross gaming revenue (GGR) for February was MOP18.49bn (US$2.29bn). That\u2019s a drop of 4.4 per cent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-up-67-in-january\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">month-on-month<\/a>\u00a0but up 79.1 per cent when compared to last February.
