That translates to an average of 120,000 daily visitor arrivals.\u00a0Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan are expected to be the main source markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-hotels-see-strong-bookings-for-chinese-new-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">80 to 90 per cent of Macau hotel rooms are already booked<\/a>\u00a0for the holiday period.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-reaches-us310-3m-in-first-4-days-of-february\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Macau\u2019s GGR for the first 4 days of February<\/a>\u00a0was\u00a0<strong>MOP2.5bn (US$310.3m)<\/strong>.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The figure is similar to January when the city saw a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-up-67-in-january\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GGR of MOP19.34bn (US$2.4bn)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tang Ka Man<\/strong>, vice-president of the Association of Macao Tourist Agents, has noted that there will be fewer group tours during Chinese New Year due to the increased cost of transportation and hotel rates.
