She was escorted from the VIP casino area in a wheelchair after vomiting on herself while gambling. <strong>Liquor &amp; Gaming NSW <\/strong>made a complaint to the state casino regulator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The penalty is the largest issued by the NSW Independent Casino Commission since The Star faced an AU$100m penalty following the Bell inquiry, which found it <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/the-star-entertainment-found-unsuitable-to-hold-sydney-casino-licence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unsuitable to operate casinos in New South Wales<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liquor &amp; Gaming NSW\u2019s executive director of regulatory operations<strong>\u00a0Jane Lin\u00a0<\/strong>said the company had implemented measures to make sure the free drinks are only served with \u201cappropriate controls\u201d in place since it resumed the service last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The casino operator recently announced\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/the-star-sydney-appoints-janelle-campbell-as-ceo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the appointment of Janelle Campbell\u00a0<\/a>as chief executive officer (CEO) of The Star Sydney, pending regulatory approvals.
