Australia.-\u00a0\u00a0The Star Entertainment Group<\/strong>\u00a0has announced the appointment of Janelle Campbell as chief executive officer (CEO) of The Star Sydney, pending all necessary regulatory approvals. She is expected to start on February 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Campbell has worked in the casino industry as director of finance and financial controller for Conrad Treasury in Brisbane<\/strong>, executive director of finance for Conrad Jupiters and Treasury Casinos Queensland<\/strong> (2003-2004) and senior vice president of finance for Melco Resorts & Entertainment<\/strong> in Macau (2008-2018). Campbell has also held a senior executive position with an Australian hotel company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company’s three venues now have new CEOs, with\u00a0Daniel Finch<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>at Brisbane and\u00a0Jessica Mellor<\/a>\u00a0at Gold Coast. They will report to group CEO and managing director\u00a0Robbie Cooke<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cooke said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to welcome Janelle to the team as part of our organisational restructure.
