According to Free Press Journal, officers were on patrol within the jurisdiction of Jawaharnagar police station when they received information that <strong>some people were gambling near Masjid Road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police say the alleged gamblers attempted to flee but were apprehended. Police seized \u20b97,000 in cash, mobile phones worth \u20b954,000 and a motorcycle worth \u20b994,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elsewhere in India, police in Ahmedabad have <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/india-8-arrested-for-alleged-illegal-online-gambling\">arrested eight people<\/a> in the Madhavpura area of the city.
