He will report to the group CEO and managing director\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/robbie-cooke-confirmed-as-ceo-and-managing-director-of-the-star\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Robbie Cooke<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cooke said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to welcome Daniel to the team as part of our organisational restructure.&nbsp;<strong>We will have a CEO in each of our venues in Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane<\/strong>. Daniel\u2019s appointment is the second, following Jess Mellor\u2019s promotion to CEO Gold Coast. We are also well advanced in our search for our Sydney CEO.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDaniel brings exceptional leadership capability to The Star, having developed high performance teams while overseeing Expedia brands and businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
