IPI&#8217;s director<strong>\u00a0How Yo Chi<\/strong>, however, disclosed plans to file a motion to stay the hearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CCC had previously set\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ccc-director-calls-for-revocation-hearing-on-ipi-licence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a December 30, 2023, deadline<\/a>\u00a0for IPI to settle debts of over US$62m in annual exclusive casino licence fees and US$17.6m in regulatory fees for 2020-2023.\u00a0IPI&#8217;s failure to pay these fees since the casino&#8217;s closure in March 2020 prompted the CCC&#8217;s enforcement actions.\u00a0IPI says it should be exempt due to the Covid-19 pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CCC chair <strong>Edward C.
