The HKJC has reported that the World Pool generated HK$4.7bn (US$600m) in full-year turnover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current year&#8217;s World Pool UK and Ireland offering featured 19 races, including the Lockinge, the Irish Derby and the Sun Chariot for the first time. Although the overall turnover was lower than the previous year&#8217;s figure of HK$4.9bn, it was up from HK$3.9bn in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael Fitzsimons, the executive director of Wagering Products at HKJC, expressed satisfaction with the reception of World Pool in the UK and Ireland this year.
