{"id":777009685,"date":"2023-09-28T07:27:07","date_gmt":"2023-09-28T10:27:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=777009685"},"modified":"2026-04-22T17:40:02","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T20:40:02","slug":"pagcor-grants-iec-provisional-licence-for-ir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-grants-iec-provisional-licence-for-ir","title":{"rendered":"PAGCOR grants IEC provisional licence for IR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International Entertainment has been granted a provisional licence for a casino and integrated resort in Manila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Philippines.- Marina Square Properties (MSPI) and New Coast Leisure (NCLI), both wholly-owned subsidiaries of International Entertainment Corporation (IEC), have been granted a provisional licence by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to establish and operate an integrated resort in Manila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a company filing issued by International Entertainment, the Provisional Licence and Regular Casino Gaming Licence will be effective from the date of the Provisional Licence Agreement until 11 July 2033.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/iec-expects-h2-losses-to-narrow-by-95\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/iec-expects-h2-losses-to-narrow-by-95\" target=\"_blank\">IEC<\/a> has committed to invest between US$1bn and US$1.2bn in the casino project, which is to have a minimum gross floor area of 250,000 square meters.
