Addressing reporters, Lei expressed hope that Macau can maintain visitor arrival momentum for the remainder of the year but refrained from providing an update on the government&#8217;s forecast for full-year casino gross gaming revenue (GGR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said: &#8220;There are still several months left, and the overall gaming revenue for the year is not being assessed at the moment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this week, <strong>Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes<\/strong>, the director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), said she expected to see\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-expects-80000-to-90000-daily-visitors-during-october-golden-week\" target=\"_blank\">a daily influx of 80,000 to 90,000 visitors<\/a>\u00a0during this year\u2019s October Golden Week Holiday, from September 29 to October 6 inclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August,\u00a0<strong>Ho Iat Seng<\/strong>, Macau\u2019s chief executive, forecast that\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-to-reach-us22-3bn-in-2023-ce-says\" target=\"_blank\">the city\u2019s gaming revenue for 2023<\/a>\u00a0could reach MOP180bn (US$22.3bn).
