The initiative, first launched in 2019, is set to feature a series of art-related and cultural events from this month until October. Each of the six casino operators will host art exhibitions at their respective properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As announced by Macau&#8217;s Cultural Affairs Bureau during a recent press event, <strong>The grand Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2023<\/strong> will include 30 art exhibitions, showcasing the works of over 200 artists across various locations throughout the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objective is to showcase the city&#8217;s various attractions beyond the gaming industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Galaxy Entertainment Group\u00a0will host the BE@RBRICK MACAU, billed as the world&#8217;s first immersive BE@RBRICK art exhibition, from July 29 to September 22 at the Galaxy Macau complex. It will show work inspired by the BE@RBRICK collectable toy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Melco Resorts &amp; Entertainment Limited<\/strong>\u00a0will show the Macau debut of Mr Doodle, who will host an improvisation session in September. <strong>MGM China<\/strong>\u00a0will showcase work by Hsiao Chin exploring the relationship between humanity and the universe through a multi-layered multimedia experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sands China Limited\u00a0<\/strong>has Meet the Magic \u2013 In Celebration of D100 by Jason Naylor &amp; Philip Colbert, presenting large-scale Mickey Mouse artworks created by Jason Naylor and Philip Colbert. <strong>SJM Resorts<\/strong> will take the Chateau des Versailles to its Grand Lisboa Palace Resort using mapping and visual technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wynn Macau Limited\u00a0<\/strong>will stage immersive experiences in The Contour of Light: A Re-encounter with Leonardo da Vinci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under new gaming concessions, the six Macau casino operators have collectively pledged\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-casino-operators-to-submit-2023-investment-plans-this-month\" target=\"_blank\">to invest a minimum of MOP108.7bn (US$13.48bn) in non-gaming initiatives<\/a>\u00a0and explore overseas markets.\u00a0They will be required to\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-casinos-to-increase-non-gaming-investment-if-ggr-reaches-us22-45bn\" target=\"_blank\">increase their non-gaming investment<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>around 20 per cent<\/strong>\u00a0of their initial pledge if Macau\u2019s annual gross gaming revenue reaches MOP180bn (US$22.45bn) by 2027.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Macau&#8217;s six casino operators will host art exhibitions as part of a government initiative to promote cultural tourism and economic diversification.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":18900,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Macau's six casino operators are actively participating in the government's Art Macao initiative, hosting cultural exhibitions as a key component of their mandated non-gaming investment pledges under new gaming concessions.
