The figure was&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-up-15-6-month-on-month-in-april\" target=\"_blank\">up 5.7 per cent when compared to April<\/a>&nbsp;and up 365.9 per cent from May 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>results are the best since January 2020<\/strong>, before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. May was the third consecutive month in which sales increased sequentially. It is worth noting that the first three days of May were part of the Labour Day holiday, during which&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-received-491968-visitors-during-labour-day-holiday\" target=\"_blank\">491,968 people visited Macau<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Moody\u2019s,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-2023-ggr-to-reach-45-of-pre-pandemic-levels-analysts-say\" target=\"_blank\">Macau\u2019s GGR should reach 45 per cent of 2019 levels this year<\/a>&nbsp;at roughly MOP131.6bn (US$16.31bn).
