He believes these should be capitalised on as Macau&#8217;s six casino operators explore non-gaming developments (operators made investment commitments as part of their <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-casino-operators-to-sign-new-concession-contracts-on-friday\" target=\"_blank\">new 10-year concessions<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wu Keng Kuong said the dual-centre approach of Macau (specialising in gaming resorts) and Hengqin (developing themed non-gaming attractions and convention facilities) is likely to attract tourists from Japan and South Korea. The Macau government is reportedly in talks with mainland China on a possible visa collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A week ago,&nbsp;<strong>Lawrence Ho Yau Lung<\/strong>, chairman of<strong>&nbsp;Melco Resorts and Entertainment<\/strong>, suggested that&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/melco-resorts-ceo-proposes-joint-macau-hengqin-events-to-boost-tourism\" target=\"_blank\">Macau should explore collaboration with Hengqin island<\/a>&nbsp;to host events that could boost tourism.
