The regulator has <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/commonwealth-casino-commission-shuts-down-due-to-lack-of-funding\" target=\"_blank\">suspended its activities<\/a>&nbsp;due to a lack of funds, but members are still receiving full-time salaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presenting the bill in a legislative session, Manglona noted that the <strong>CCC pays each commissioner $65,000<\/strong> \u2013 a total of $325,000 each fiscal year. The bill aims to replace annual compensation with compensation&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ccc-holds-monthly-meeting-despite-suspension-of-operations\" target=\"_blank\">based on meetings<\/a> to alleviate the financial strain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manglona stressed that once the casino industry returns, compensation can be re-evaluated.
