The PNP said <strong>Rigel Brosas<\/strong> and <strong>Daryl Paghangaan<\/strong> surrendered after a series of negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two men along with former patrolman<strong> Roy Navarrete<\/strong> were wanted for potential connection with the kidnapping of Ricardo Lasco, on August 30, 2021. PNP spokesman Colonel&nbsp;<strong>Jean Fajardo<\/strong>&nbsp;said Brosas, Paghangaaan and Navarrete fired last year after being linked to the kidnapping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lasco case is one of the eight being handled by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Special Investigation Task Group &#8220;Sabungero&#8221;. Some 34 disappearances&nbsp;have been <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/philippines-calls-for-e-sabong-to-be-suspended-after-31-disappear\" target=\"_blank\">connected to the e-sabong industry<\/a>&nbsp;between April 2021 and January 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former President Rodrigo Duterte <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/philippines-president-changes-his-mind-and-orders-e-sabong-ban\" target=\"_blank\">suspended legal online cockfighting<\/a>&nbsp;in May after 23 senators signed Resolution No. 996<strong>&nbsp;calling for a suspension<\/strong>.
