Those arrested have been charged with&nbsp;<strong>illegal gambling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gambling in Taiwan is banned<\/strong> by the Criminal Code of the Republic of China. The only legal form of gambling in Taiwan is state-run lotteries.
