Macau.- Melco Resorts<\/strong> is now the fifth Macau gaming operator to announce a special bonus for staff. The company said the \u201cone-time discretionary allowance\u201d<\/strong> would apply to \u201call eligible non-management employees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company did not mention what percentage of the workforce would be entitled to the special payment. The one-time discretionary allowance, equivalent to one month\u2019s salary, is going to be paid before Chinese New Year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawrence Ho Yau Lung<\/strong>, Melco Resorts chairman and chief executive, said the payment is \u201cin recognition of the loyalty and efforts\u201d of the firm\u2019s employees, \u201cwhose continued efforts and dedication had been integral\u201d to Melco Resorts\u2019 recent reward of a new gaming concession<\/a> from the Macau government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe look forward to a brighter and more dynamic future for Macau where our Colleagues will continue to deliver the most memorable experiences to guests,\u201d Lung added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
