Police seized playing cards, more than Rs 15,000 in cash, electronic calculators and other gambling materials. There was reportedly a scuffle with police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elsewhere in India, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/india-13-arrested-in-connection-with-scam-involving-betting-app-fairplay\" target=\"_blank\">thirteen people were arrested<\/a>&nbsp;in the city of&nbsp;<strong>Amritsar&nbsp;<\/strong>earlier this month for allegedly conducting illegal online gambling via the mobile application Fairplay.
