The seven contenders for new ten-year licences include Macau&#8217;s six existing casino operators plus one outsider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The commission overseeing Macau\u2019s casino retender has said that bids will be evaluated in accordance with the following factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The company\u2019s proposal to expand tourist markets from foreign countries;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its experience in operating casinos or other relevant businesses;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The benefits of their gaming and non-gaming investments;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The company\u2019s plans to manage its casino operations;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its monitoring and prevention of illegal casino activities recommendations;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its commitment to corporate social responsibility activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Casino operators have been told&nbsp;<strong>to submit plans for film festivals, cultural performances and carnivals<\/strong>&nbsp;and to strengthen relationships with local small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
