The draft includes over 12 chapters and 98 articles to regulate the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a final version is agreed upon, the project will be presented to the Cambodian cabinet and eventually to the legislative body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If passed, the new gaming law would make the application process for casinos stricter, overseen by a new 11-member committee to regulate gaming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casinos in Cambodia <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/cambodia-close-casinos\" target=\"_blank\">have been closed since April<\/a><\/em><\/strong> due to Covid-19.
