Australia.- The Premier of South Australia, Steven Marshall, has announced the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, including the reopening of casinos and gaming rooms in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outdoor gatherings can be held in South Australia with up to 300 people. Indoors, the maximum capacity has been increased from 20 to 75 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keno, TAB and bingo will also be allowed again, and games such as billiards and darts will be permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of June 29, gaming rooms, pubs and clubs will be able to resume operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to 7news, South Australia authorities are to meet with Adelaide Casino to set up protocols for reopening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Australia was also the first jurisdiction to open its borders to other states such as Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory. People from those regions entering the territory won\u2019t have to go through 14 days of self-isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This could help to revive local tourism as national tourism authorities say international borders could remain closed until 2021<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
