resorts will partially reopen<\/a><\/em><\/strong> in time for the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMarina Bay Sands has published a message on its website saying it will resume operations progressively as of June 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today (Friday) Marina Bay Sands\u2019 mall, The Shoppes, with almost 200 stores and food and beverage outlets will reopen with updated safety and hygiene protocols to comply with local regulations. For the moment, they will only cater to loyalty members of the resort in order to keep to required social distancing measures and capability limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be mandatory check-in and temperature scanners at the entrance to receive those entering the mall. The system used will combine Marine Bay Sands’ loyalty membership scheme and national digital log-in system for contact tracing. Temperature scanning points will also be located at locations inside the mall itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The casino, hotel, ArtScience Museum and Sands Expo, as well as other venues and attractions will remain closed until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Resorts World Sentosa, meanwhile, announced it will resume dining services from Firiday with reinforced sanitation and hygiene protocols. The resort has received the \u201cSG Clean\u201d certification from the Singapore Government in the fight against Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The restaurants that will reopen are Ocean Restaurant, Osia Steak & Seafood Grill and Syun. Table 65 is set to open its doors on June 25, while Malaysian Food Street continues to offer take away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like Marina Bay Sands, at Resorts World Sentosa other venues and guest areas will also remain closed until further notice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
