The city has responded to the Chinese capital raising the level of its state of emergency this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Macau.- The new outbreak of Covid-19 currently hitting Beijing has changed plans for Macau’s treatment of visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Macau government has announced that from June 17 all travellers that have been in Beijing will be required to quarantine for 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quarantine would be passed at government-designated venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The measure comes in response to Beijing raising its state of emergency from level 2 to level 3 after a new surge in Covid-19 cases .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities in Beijing have imposed a partial lockdown again, advising the city\u2019s residents to avoid \u201cnon-essential\u201d travel out of the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

China\u2019s Global Times newspaper reported that more than 60 percent of commercial flights in and out of Beijing had been cancelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
