Macau.- Adriano Ho will be confired as new the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ)<\/strong><\/em> director on June 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He will replace Paulo Martins Chan, who announced his <\/b><\/a>departure last week<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, after almost five years in the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lei Wai Nong, Macau\u2019s Secretary for Economy and Finance, confirmed the transition date in a statement delivered to local press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Regulating the gaming industry is a persistent work for the government, it is not future tense. No matter who is the DICJ director, we\u2019ll continue with our regulation as usual to ensure healthy development of the gaming industry,” Lei said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He also made it clear that the casino tender process, scheduled for 2022, is going to continue as planned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “The authority of making decisions about the gaming law [is] in the hands of the Chief Executive and the five Secretaries.
