Macau.- Director of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), Paulo Martins Chan, has resigned from his position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
News of his departure came from an official announcement by the Economy and Finance office today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According agency MNA, Adriano Marques Ho, an advisor to Secretary for Security, Wong Sio Chak, will replace him as the new head of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sources told MNA that Adriano Ho will take over as DICJ chief in June, and Paulo Martins Chan will return to the Public Prosecutions Office where he served as assistant prosecutor-general before becoming director of the city\u2019s gaming regulator on December 1, 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before joining the Office of the Secretary for Security in 2014, Adriano Ho was the head of the Macao Sub-Bureau of the China National Central Bureau of INTERPOL from 2004 to 2010. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He acted as the head of the Judiciary Police Criminal Investigation Department from 2010 to 2012 and head of the Gaming-related and Economic Crimes Investigation Department from 2012 to 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last year he presented as a representative of the Office of the Secretary for Security alongside the DICJ in meetings with gaming operators and the security sector discussing the strengthening of casino security. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
