Thailand.- Authorities have revealed that women addicted to gambling are the biggest violators of the social distancing measure in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, Spokesman for the Government\u2019s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, shared police data showing the seriousness of the situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The numbers showed that 87 joined gatherings, up 47 from the previous day, while 568 left their houses during curfew hours, down 27 over a 24-hour period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those who joined gatherings for drinking, gambling and illicit drug consumption were people aged between 11-40, the majority being males. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the majority of violators in the age group 51-60 were women, mostly those who visited gambling dens, the Doctor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHusbands should inform their wives about the dangers of the Covid-19 contagion,\u201d Taweesin warned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
