Nine hotels have now been released and will open to the public following a deep clean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Macau.- Nine hotels have now been removed<\/a><\/em><\/strong> from the list of properties being used as quarantine venues in Macau, with just three venues currently being used to house foreign visitors entering the SAR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The properties currently being used are the Sheraton Grand Macau, Pousada Marina Infante and Golden Crown China Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Inside Asian Gaming<\/em>, as of Sunday, April 19, a total of 215 people were still undergoing a 14-day medical quarantine in the Sheraton Hotel, where around 500 rooms are being used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fight against Coronavirus seems to be working and according to authorities, just 25 Covid-19 patients remain in hospital, with 20 people having now recovered and been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, the official numbers<\/a><\/em><\/strong> were released for the Macau gaming industry and revealed that gross gaming revenue fell 59.9 per cent year-on-year to just MOP$30.6 billion (\u20ac3.51billion) in the first quarter of the year, according to the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
